Some stories begin with grand gestures. Some with a sudden surprise. Ours began more quietly in a classroom at National Law University Odisha in 2010, with shared lectures, borrowed notes, group projects, and an unexpected friendship. Over the years, that friendship carried us through different cities, continents, careers, and every season in between. It became the one constant in our dynamic lives, until one day we realised we had already found the person we wanted to keep choosing.
For us, marriage is not the start of something entirely new. It is a natural continuation of a relationship built on companionship, mutual respect, laughter, and an unwavering belief in each other. Our story cannot be told through a single milestone — it lives in countless conversations, memorable journeys, friendly debates, and the ordinary moments that became extraordinary simply because they were shared.

You have to know Honey to understand how effortlessly determination and independence seem to come to her. She thrives in the demanding world of corporate law, but away from work, you are more likely to find her with art, music, or attempting the impossible task of window shopping without being tempted.
What you notice first, though, is her warmth — and then her resilience, her ability to stand her ground, and the way she stands by the people she loves. She has been my confidante for many a year, which is perhaps proof that the strongest partnerships often begin long before they are acknowledged.

If you know Abhijeet, you know that he has an aura that speaks before he does. He began his career as a lawyer before trading legal practice for the classroom and eventually finding his calling in academia. You will find him most at home when he is travelling with a camera in hand, looking for the next landscape, street, or fleeting moment worth capturing.
His curiosity rarely lets him stay still — there is always a new place to go to, something to learn, or a new rabbit hole to disappear into. However, when it matters most, he is exactly where you need him to be. For me, he has always been a friend I could count on, through all of life’s twists and turns, and that continues to be the foundation of everything.
